- Road hazards. The relatively small size of scooters makes them more susceptible to hazards such as potholes or sidewalk cracks.
- DUIs. According to the Trauma Surgery and Acute Care Center, almost 40% of e-scooter accidents happen while the rider or another driver is under the influence.
